For people with a disability who are not able to work without support, Australian Disability Enterprises such as Aruma offer what’s called Supported Employment.

Is experience necessary?

You do not need any experience or qualifications to join our Summerland Farm team as a Supported Employee. Our supervisors and trainers will provide you with training and support every step of the way.

Who is elligible?

You just need to be between the ages of 18-65 years old and have or will apply for “Supports in Employment” in your NDIS plan. You will also need to have a Disability Support Pension (DSP).

What will I do?

There are so many activities you can do. It could be cooking, plant and animal care, serving customers in the restaurant and shops, macadamia dehusking, gardening or forklift driving. See what you enjoy! See all the current roles here.

Chemical Certification in Weed Spraying

Certificate 2 in Horticulture

First Aid Certificate

Barista Training

Tourism and Hospitality Certificates

Forklift license
