A. For our locals who don’t need a family annual pass, you can still visit as many times as you like for $18 per adult & $30 per child (unlimited entry for up to 12 months).

A. There certainly is. Just show your senior card on entry for a $2 admission price and your companion card for free admission.

A. No, there is no admission fee to enter our restaurant/café or retail outlets.

A. As a business of Aruma, accessibility is a priority for our employees and visitors. Wherever possible, all aspects of the site can be accessed by a wheelchair.

A. We love our animals at Summerland Farm but for everyone’s safety, no pets are allowed on site. We’d hate to endanger our farm animals, and we adhere to all health and safety restrictions regarding animals in food areas. Guide Dogs or Seeing Eye Dogs are, of course, exempt.

Summerland Farm is a family facility, and we maintain health and safety standards for all our guests, at all times.

A. Please be aware that our gardens on site are mulched using a sustainable by-product of our macadamia dehusking facility. Macadamia husk is a great organic mulch but is not so good for those with an allergy. We ask that all families and visitors take this into account.

Summerland farm is committed to helping slow the spread of COVID-19 and all visitors considering coming to site should only do so if they are free from flu like symptoms.

A. We’re located at 253 Wardell Rd Alstonville NSW, 2477. See our location on Google Maps.

A. We are open 7 days a week from 8am-4pm.

Our Restaurant is open from 8am-3pm. Our Retail Hub & Adventure Park is open from 9am-4pm.

We only close on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and Good Friday.

A. Yes! You can book a table in our restaurant or a high tea or picnic with our online booking system.

A. Our Farm Café and Restaurant/Function menus cater for vegetarian and gluten-free diets. Please let us know if you have any intolerances and we will try to accommodate these. (Note: Pre-made food can’t be adjusted).

A. Yes. Our restaurant serves a range of local beers and wines. These are also available for our farm picnics (book at hello@summerlandfarm.com.au). The Farm Café is not licensed. Sorry, no BYO is permitted on our grounds.

A. In the Animal Encounter you will see our rabbits, guinea pigs and our mini goats. Our friendly mini donkeys are also likely to stop by for a scratch! Our animal encounters are $5pp.

A. No we do not have BBQ facilities and for the safety of all visitors, barbecues cannot be brought into Summerland Farm.

A. Your ceremony can start from 2:30pm. Earlier start times can be discussed with your Venue Coordinator.

A. Yes! We use our terrace in the case of wet weather and have two standard floor plans for wedding ceremonies with 80 and under guess – please discuss wet weather options with our Venue Coordinator if your guest list is above this. Wedding ceremonies with under 30 guests can use the rotunda in the event of wet weather. Your floor plan preference will be finalised at your last meeting. The decision to move to the wet weather option must be made two hours prior to the ceremony.

 

For outdoor Receptions, please discuss wet weather options with our Venue Coordinator, as these differ to the above. Please note that Summerland Farm will make the final decision on wet weather reception plans for the safety and enjoyment of all guests and staff members.

A. You’re welcome to hold a ceremony rehearsal prior to your Wedding. Rehearsals at the rotunda or restaurant gardens must be completed by 4.30pm and rehearsals at the fig tree or three trees locations must be complete by 4pm. Please advise your Venue Coordinator of the day and arrival time that best suits you.

A. Summerland Farm closes at 10.30pm. The bar closes at 10.15pm and music and entertainment is to end at this time as well. All guests must exit the restaurant before 10.30pm.

A. Of course! Please advise our Venue Coordinator of your guests’ dietary requirements (i.e. lactose free, gluten free, vegan, vegetarian) one month prior to your wedding. We also require their name and location on the floor plan. Please note all dietary requirements incur an additional fee of $3 per person. Unfortunately, we can’t cater for dietary requirements advised on the evening.

A. Summerland Farm has a site-wide liquor license and offers a full bar including beer, wine, spirits and soft drinks, juices, etc. We run our bars with tabs and it’s up to you:

• How you run the tab i.e. either straight after the ceremony or with reception
• What you include on the tab (beer & wine only) and,
• What amount you wish to spend. Our staff will advise you when your tab is reaching the communicated limit.

Please note that no external alcohol is to be brought onsite by any guests.

A. We welcome functions during the day and after hours for private hire, 7 days a week in our Summerland Farm Restaurant (pending availability). Function rooms are available during normal Restaurant hours and there are several other locations on site to host a function.

A. Children’s party packages are available. Contact hello@summerlandfarm.com.au for more information Please note, for the safety of you and other patrons:

• Children must be accompanied at all times
• Alcohol is not permitted in the playground and waterpark area.
• No glass products can be brought into the adventure playground.
• No BBQs or third party/commercial food purchases (unless authorised by management as part of a paid function). Of course you can bring your home-made food.
• No eskies (bigger than A4), chairs, tables, marquees or tents can be brought into the adventure playground area.
• No balloons or decorations can be brought into the adventure playground area.
• No scooters, bikes or skateboards can be brought into the adventure park playground.
• No animals – service animals specifically trained to aid a person with a disability are welcome.
• Summerland Farm is a NO SMOKING property.

A. The rotunda is reserved exclusively for Wedding ceremonies and celebration of life/funeral services only.

A. As a farm with multiple operating parts, we can offer a wide variety of roles such as hospitality, gardening, horticultural and packaging opportunities.

To be eligible for employment at Summerland Farm, you must have a DSP and an NDIS plan. No experience or qualifications are necessary. We train you on the job and support you every step of the way.
