Distribution hub – paddock to plate
Not only do we grow our own delicious produce, we are also one of the major fruit distribution hubs for the region!
We pack and grade fruit such as custard apples, peaches, nectarines, persimmons, and limes for more than 200 farmers.
Tours of the packing shed require a minimum of 20 visitors and must be arranged before you visit, so please get in touch with our team.
Did you know?
The fruit that we grade, pack and distribute often ends up at your local Coles, Woolworths or IGA Supermarkets!

Sorting the good from the bad
Grading of fruits and vegetables is an important step for farmers once they have harvested their produce.
Our team examine each piece of fruit. We make sure we look at the colour, shape, size, weight, and ripeness, as well as checking for defects or damage.

An inclusive workplace
As a business of Aruma, our packing shed is dedicated to training and employment for people with a disability.
Employment at Summerland Farm provides people with a disability opportunities to make friends, develop new skills and gain experience in the workplace.

Award winning business
Summerland Farm is a multi-award winning green business!
Wherever possible, we use sustainable operations including combinations of biological, physical, and cultural forms of pest suppression as alternatives to heavy spraying with pesticide chemicals.
